I thought that it went pretty well, don't stop believing was pretty wonkie but that first middle school solo human was real sorts of good. I think we could have been a bit more energetic but that is it 😁
I think our concert actually went really well (minus the last song). Our first song was a little rocky, but I know everyone was trying and I guess that's what really counts. I don't know how I feel about the radio bit yet because I feel like it took more time than necessary, but it was also a really creative way to introduce the songs. I think How Sweet and Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore were our best songs of the night though, and I am personally very proud of the alto's for hitting the low notes.
Altos sang their part pretty well on how sweet it is, I'll stand by you, and lion sleeps tonight. The solosspunded good but timing was a little off on some of them. The senior duet was amazeballs.
I think we did okay, we could've done better. I didn't like the song choices... they were hard to sing as a choir. I also didn't like when we put our hands out in the girl's song... To me it makes it look cheesy. But other than that I think we were pretty good.
There are many things that I felt went really well. one thing was that there was no really screw up ( not including dont stop believing). congrats to all the solo for rockin it out. and i cant wait to work with the new high schoolers next year
I think Hello, Goodbye wasn't ready to be performed. It seemed ill prepared and still needed work. Alto's didn't know their notes at all for that song and it was a mess trying to sing. The rest of the concert was okay though.
The Middle school was great. I loved Josh's acting throughout the show. Hello goodbye was great, it was probably are best run through of it. I can't fight this feeling was great, Derek and Kayla's solos were great. The girls song was good. The duet was good. And the spartan singers performance was great. Then we came back with I'll stand by you and it was great. Then the last one shall not be mentioned........also thanks for the award Hadley
The concert went very well in my opinion. The choir as a whole did very well with some people (me mainly) with a few minor errors. All of our songs went well with Can't Fight This Feeling being my favorite. I hope all our future concerts have good songs like this one and that we continue to improve.
I think the concert went well last night. During How Sweet the people that don't usually try were actually trying. All the soloists sounded great. I could hear the tenors over the sopranos. I could tell everyone was trying their best through the whole thing.
I think it went well. We all sang well together and I like how we did a song with the middle school. I think it sounded really good. We defiantly needed to know our last song better. We didn't know our parts to that song. But overall I think we did good.
I feel that this concert went really well. The songs were fun to perform and everyone tried their best. A few things could have been better but no high school/middle school concert is going to be perfect. Doing our best and having fun is all that counts as long as the audience enjoyed it.
All of the solos went really well. Hello Goodbye went well considering I thought we would crash and burn. Spartan singers, we also did better than I thouht we would. I can't fight this feeling was really good. Good job Derek the solo was amazing. Lastly to brag a little bit Merissa and I did great on true colors. Merissa it was really great, especially when you made your momma cry.
Overall, the concert was disappointing. There were some major mess ups, but I personally didn't like any of the songs. I did however think that we did the best with what we were given. All of the solos were pretty good, so keep up the good work everyone!! I thought that although the Spartan Singers sounded pretty decent, but the sopranos weren't confident with our entrances at all. Lion sleeps tonight sounded great, I liked singing with so many voices, it made me feel powerful. Also shoutout to Josh and Shelby for adding some humor to the show.
I thought our concert was really good. Like others have said we could have been more energetic. Other than that I thought all of the solos were good and mostly all of the song were great! also I thought the radio thing was pretty cool and funny.
This concert was an amazing way to end my high school years, most of the songs went really well, and sounded pretty good where I was back in the tenor section, shout out to the other seniors in choir, what a great way to end our years here at springport. Keep on rocking Springport choir.
The basses did quite well on lion sleeps as it was quite difficult. It would of been better if we had been a bit louder though. I would also like to address Joshes performance both as DJ and singer he was on point. I'll miss the seniors but outer than the last song I can't think of a better send off.
This Concert was amazing! We had a great song selection an executed beautifully. I love the Radio Dj idea definitely something to consider for other concerts
I think over all we did good, you can really hear all the different parts in all of ours songs. But during the songs some of us looked really stiff and didn't get into the grove of the songs. We really rocked all of our songs and the solos were amazing good job everyone.
Last night went pretty good for me. At first I was nervous but then I got the feel for everything and I sung the majority of my notes spot on. I wish we could have gotten another shot at The Lion Sleeps Tonight because i messed up on timing but other than that I really enjoyed the concert. Our soloists did an amazing job also.
I guess we did fine, but a few times we got confused. With all the different parts it was hard and basically unavoidable to mess up a bit without more practice. We were all being quiet and nervous and not singing because there were so many parts that were for different sections, and nobody wanted to make a mistake singing when they werent supposed to. But i think most of the time we had our notes right, and overall it was an okay performance. The issues were just songs that were a bit awkward for a choir and not enough practice.
I think the concert went well, we could have been a lot more energetic and made sure we were hitting the right notes but for the most part it was a successful concert. our soloists did awesome and we killed "Can't Fight This Feeling" it was the song we performed best.
I think that loin sleeps tonight went really well, very cute. The rest of the songs could have been more energetic. My favorite song was I cant fight this feeling. I thought the concert went very well except the last song because it went a lil off track😂
We think that we ended this choir year on a good note! Our best song was The Lion Sleeps tonight, and the middle school solos were really good. The altos could have known their part a little better for Hello, Goodbye, but overall we would say that the song still went pretty well. We did well on the rest of our songs as well.
We think that we could have been a little more prepared.
We definitely ended this year on a pretty good not!:)
The concert went very good besides don't stop. I think we all did a lot better on hello goodbye than we have in practice. I think we killed all the other songs!
Our spring concert wasn't the best but it went very well. Hello goodbye could have been better but it was good. I can't fight this feeling was one of my favorite songs that we did and the solos were amazing. Our last song, Don't stop believing was also a really good song but it didn't go to well. The solos for it was still amazing though.
This was a great way to end the year with. It was a great performance aside from Don't Stop, (good save Hadley). Lion Sleeps was really good aside from the girl soloist who had a really scratchy throat and the one guy who soloed at the end didn't sound too excited about it.
I think the concert went pretty well. O think the best song we sang was I Cant fight this feeling. Even though don't stop believing wash very good the rest of the songs sounded pretty good. The audience seemed to enjoy them. The solos were pretty good as well.
Since we aren't allowed to say anything about Don't Stop Believing, the following space is dedicated to all the things I would've said about it
The audience seemed to enjoy the bumpers which was good (I was a little worried that the audience wouldn't like the humor style). I botched the Hello, Goodbye solo (sorry Beatles.) I Can't Fight This Feeling and I'll Stand by You sounded pretty good, but they were the easiest songs we did. Lion Sleeps is so repetitive I was nearly put to sleep.
I thought we sounded good on i cant fight feeling i feel like we are getting better every concert we have.
The choir as a whole did very well with some people with a few minor errors. All of our songs went well with Can't Fight This Feeling being the better. I hope other concerts have good songs like this one and that we continue to improve. Shoutout to Caitlynn on can't fight this feeling, the song fit her voice well, sounded gr8.
I am a little disappointed. The amount of effort we put into the songs gave us the result we deserved. Gotta be serious in rehearsal. With an exception of a few songs, staying in tune was a problem, and you want to sing with the big boys, gotta practice like them. We have potential, but we need to kick it into gear! Let's turn this around and make the rest of our concerts more entertaining with beautiful tone and tune. We got this guys! Can't Fight This Feeling and Stand By You showed what we are all capable of.
Altos sang all the songs pretty well. All the songs besides one at the end went well. But over all I think we have came along way since the beginning of the year. When the girls sang How sweet it is I didn't like how we put our hands out because it made it look cheesy.
I believe that the tenors held our own for most of the preformance. As well as the basses rocking their part in the in the lion sleeps.
bases need to work on volume, across the entire choir vowel shaping is a thing that needs to happen. Tuning could have used work in some areas but it isn't to big of a deal but other than those things as far as I can tell from the first two songs everything seems to be well. I can't fight this feeling was superb the keys are all well at most points accept after the second solo when the guys come in. in the women's ensemble the music really drowned out the soloist, I don't really know if it was just the volume of the music or the volume of the soloist.
Over all the consert went okay. I think we lacked energy and facial expressions. If we could of fixed that everything would of sounded way better. We struggled with timing but that's an easy fix. I loved the spartan singers song it was wonderful.
Overall our concert was well thought out and well performed our best song would definitely be I'll stand by you due to the amazing solo's and strong support throughout the song and not forgetting our words For The Longest Time was our next best also including amazing solo's and semi-strong support throughout the majority of the song.
Although I was not there I still saw the videos and we did amazing.👍🏻 In the jungle was good everybody sang their parts including the middle school. An the last note was on point🎤 In Hello goodbye was pretty good for the most part but it was not my favorite. ✋ I can't fight this feeling was great our last note was most impressive can't Agrue with that 🎼 how sweet it is was never really my favorite but the stop signs gave it a little more fun. And the part where the 1st sang by thereselvs was not good. True colors was a good diet 🎹 Longest ride was greatly done by the Spartan singers they hit their notes 🎧Brooks solo was just great. 🏀 Don't stop believing.
I think we did very well. I loved the duet and even though we were a little off beat and had a rough start for dont stop believing it turned out well
Overall our choir concert went a lot better than I expected. Our solos went really well, there were a few bumps throughout the night but that was expected. Don't stop believing was not as bad as we thought it to be. The accompaniment was funky so it was harder than usual to start on beat. My favorite songs of the night were Lion Sleeps and I can't fight this feeling.
We did good but that ones girls solo did bad
I think overall the concert went pretty well. Don't Stop believing was horrible but we kept going. But I think The Lion Sleeps Tonight went the best. We did very well with only being able to practice all together once. The solos were great.
